Sabeans ......................................

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.
And if only the People of the Scripture had believed and feared Allah, We would have removed from them their misdeeds and admitted them to Gardens of Pleasure. And if only they upheld [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to them from their Lord, they would have consumed [provision] from above them and from beneath their feet. Among them is a moderate community, but many of them - evil is that which they do. O Messenger, announce that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do not, then you have not conveyed His message. And Allah will protect you from the people. Indeed, Allah does not guide the disbelieving people. Say, "O People of the Scripture, you are [standing] on nothing until you uphold [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord." And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. So do not grieve over the disbelieving people. Indeed, those who have believed [in Prophet Muhammad] and those [before Him] who were Jews or Sabeans or Christians - those [among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve. We had already taken the covenant of the Children of Israel and had sent to them messengers. Whenever there came to them a messenger with what their souls did not desire, *a party [of messengers] they denied, and another party they killed. And they thought there would be no [resulting] punishment, so they became blind and deaf. Then Allah turned to them in forgiveness; then [again] many of them became blind and deaf. And Allah is Seeing of what they do. – The Holy Qur’an 5:65-71.
Hadith:
Narrated by Anas (RA): When the news of the arrival of the Prophet at Medina reached 'Abdullah bin Salam,
he went to him to ask him about certain things, He said, "I am going to ask you about three things which only
a Prophet can answer: What is the first sign of The Hour? What is the first food which the people of
Paradise will eat? Why does a child attract the similarity to his father or to his mother?" The Prophet
replied, "Gabriel has just now informed me of that." Ibn Salam said, "He (i.e. Gabriel) is the enemy of
the Jews amongst the angels. The Prophet said, "As for the first sign of The Hour, it will be a fire that
will collect the people from the East to the West. As for the first meal which the people of Paradise
will eat, it will be the caudate (extra) lobe of the fish-liver. As for the child, if the man's discharge
precedes the woman's discharge, the child attracts the similarity to the man, and if the woman's discharge
precedes the man's, then the child attracts the similarity to the woman."  On this, 'Abdullah bin Salam
said, "I testify that None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, and that you are the Apostle of Allah."
and added, "O Allah's Apostle! Jews invent such lies as make one astonished, so please ask them about me
before they know about my conversion to I slam. “The Jews came, and the Prophet said, "What kind of man is
'Abdullah bin Salam among you?" They replied, "The best of us and the son of the best of us and the most
superior among us, and the son of the most superior among us. "The Prophet said, "What would you think if
'Abdullah bin Salam should embrace Islam?" They said, "May Allah protects him from that." The Prophet repeated
his question and they gave the same answer. Then 'Abdullah came out to them and said, "I testify that none has the
right to be worshipped except Allah and that Muhammad( P.B.U.H.) is the Apostle of Allah!" On this, the Jews said,
"He is the most wicked among us and the son of the most wicked among us." So they degraded him. On this, he (i.e.

'Abdullah bin Salam) said, "It is this that I was afraid of, O Allah's Apostle.  –Shahi Bukhari Vol.5, No. 275.

Lifeless ...................

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.
The Event (the Hour or the punishment of disbelievers and polytheists or the Islamic laws or commandments), ordained by Allah will come to pass, so seek not to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate as partners with Him. He sends down the angels with inspiration of His Command to whom of His slaves He pleases (saying): "Warn mankind that La ilaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so fear Me (by abstaining from sins and evil deeds). He has created the heavens and the earth with truth. High be He Exalted above all they associate as partners with Him. He has created man from Nutfah (mixed drops of male and female sexual discharge), then behold, this same (man) becomes an open opponent. And the cattle, He has created them for you; in them there is warmth (warm clothing), and numerous benefits, and of them you eat. And wherein is beauty for you, when you bring them home in the evening, and as you lead them forth to pasture in the morning.  And they carry your loads to a land that you could not reach except with great trouble to yourselves. Truly, your Lord is full of Kindness, Most Merciful. And (He has created) horses, mules and donkeys, for you to ride and as an adornment. And He creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge. And upon Allah is the responsibility to explain the Straight Path (i.e. Islamic Monotheism for mankind i.e. to show them legal and illegal, good and evil things, etc. so, whosoever accepts the guidance, it will be for his own benefit and whosoever goes astray, it will be for his own destruction), but there are ways that turn aside (such as Paganism, Judaism, Christianity, etc.). And had He willed, He would have guided you all (mankind). He it is Who sends down water (rain) from the sky; from it you drink and from it (grows) the vegetation on which you send your cattle to pasture; With it He causes to grow for you the crops, the olives, the date-palms, the grapes, and every kind of fruit. Verily! In this is indeed an evident proof and a manifest sign for people who give thought.  And He has subjected to you the night and the day, the sun and the moon; and the stars are subjected by His Command. Surely, in this are proofs for people who understand.  And whatsoever He has created for you on this earth of varying colors [and qualities from vegetation and fruits, etc. (botanical life) and from animal (zoological life)]. Verily! In this is a sign for people who remember.  And He it is Who has subjected the sea (to you), that you eat thereof fresh tender meat (i.e. fish), and that you bring forth out of it ornaments to wear. And you see the ships ploughing through it, that you may seek (thus) of His Bounty (by transporting the goods from place to place) and that you may be grateful. And He has affixed into the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you, and rivers and roads, that you may guide yourselves. And landmarks (signposts, etc. during the day) and by the stars (during the night), they (mankind) guide themselves. Is then He, Who creates as one who creates not? Will you not then remember? And if you would count the graces of Allah, never could you be able to count them. Truly! Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. And Allah knows what you conceal and what you reveal. Those whom they (Al-Mushrikun ) invoke besides Allah have not created anything, but are themselves created. (They are) dead, lifeless, and they know not when they will be raised up. Your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God Allah, none has the right to be worshipped but He). But for those who believe not in the  Hereafter, their hearts deny (the faith in the Oneness of Allah), and they are proud. Certainly, Allah knows what they conceal and what they reveal. Truly, He likes not the proud. Al-Qur’an 16: 1-23

Whom you do not know!

Narrated 'Abdullah Bin 'Amr(RA:)  A man asked the Prophet , "What sort of deeds or (what qualities of) Islam are good?"
The Prophet replied, 'To feed (the poor) and greet those whom you know and those whom you do not Know.

SUNDARBAN
Criterion : The Sundarbans is the largest area of mangrove forest in the world and the only one that is inhabited by the tiger. The land area in the Sundarbans is constantly being changed, moulded and shaped by the action of the tides, with erosion processes more prominent along estuaries and deposition processes along the banks of inner estuarine waterways influenced by the accelerated discharge of silt from sea water. Its role as a wetland nursery for marine organisms and as a climatic buffer against cyclones is a unique natural process.
Criterion (x): The mangrove ecosystem of the Sundarbans is considered to be unique because of its immensely rich mangrove flora and mangrove-associated fauna. Some 78 species of mangroves have been recorded in the area making it the richest mangrove forest in the world. It is also unique as the mangroves are not only dominant as fringing mangroves along the creeks and backwaters, but also grow along the sides of rivers in muddy as well as in flat, sandy areas.

The Sundarbans support a wealth of animal species including the single largest population of tiger and a number of other threatened aquatic mammals such as the Irrawaddy and Ganges River dolphins. The site also contains an exceptional number of threatened reptiles including the king cobra and significant populations of the endemic river terrapin which was once believed to be extinct. The property provides nesting grounds for marine turtles including the olive riley, green and hawksbill. Two of the four species of highly primitive horseshoe crab (Tachypleus gigas and Carcinoscorpius rotundicauda) are found here. The Sajnakhali area, listed as an Important Bird Area, contains a wealth of waterfowl and is of high importance for migratory birds.

Sundarban .........................

Is it that there is a disease in their hearts? Or do they doubt, or do they fear that Allah and His Messenger will be unjust to them? Nay, it is they themselves who are the wrongdoers. – Al-Quranp-24:51

SUNDARBAN

Wildlife refers to the animals and related plants in a state of nature, or the species of fauna that are not domesticated or tame and are also indigenous to an area, region or range. The expression is relatively recent in origin dating to Richard Jefferies' 1879 work discussing the various animal species in the Wiltshire Downs in southern Britain. Jefferies insisted, “glance into the hedgerow, the copse, or stream,” and “there" you find  "nature’s children as unrestrained in their wild, free life as they were in the …backwoods of primitive England.” The term wildling is much older, however, as is wildness from which wildlife is derivative, being used for example by William Shakespeare to refer to those qualities of living things not under the influence or control of humans. Charles Darwin when referring to artificial selection... More »
